We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Infrastructure Engineer to support, maintain, and optimize the infrastructure environments that underpin our Managed Services clients’ I.T. systems..

Role Overview
As an Infrastructure Engineer within CIS Managed Services, you will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing the infrastructure environments that support SMB and Enterprise Managed Services ecosystems. This includes cloud, hybrid, and on-premise systems that enable secure authentication, directory services, and identity governance operations.
You will work closely with our engineers, security teams, and client stakeholders to ensure infrastructure performance, reliability, scalability, and compliance. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, automation experience, and a proactive approach to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure environments supporting all general business systems including Google, Microsoft etc.
- Manage cloud and hybrid infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, on-prem)
- Support Active Directory, Azure AD / Entra ID, and related directory services
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security posture
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related incidents and outages
- Implement automation and configuration management practices
- Support disaster recovery planning and business continuity initiatives
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with client and regulatory requirements
- Maintain documentation for architecture, configurations, and operational procedures
- Participate in on-call rotations as needed
Required Experience & Skills
- 5+ years of infrastructure engineering experience in enterprise environments
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Experience supporting IAM-related infrastructure (Active Directory, LDAP, federation services)
- Solid understanding of networking, firewalls, load balancers, and DNS
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware or similar)
- Familiarity with automation tools (PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, or similar)
- Understanding of security best practices in enterprise infrastructure
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent documentation and communication abilities
Education & Legal Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- Relevant certifications preferred (Azure, AWS, VMware, or security-related)
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Willingness to undergo a background check
