We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Project Manager to oversee onboarding, transition, and ongoing service delivery for Managed Services clients within the small to medium-sized business (SMB) segment.

Location: Remote (occasional travel may be required)

Role Overview

As Project Manager for CIS Managed Services, you will be responsible for leading client onboarding, managing service transitions, and ensuring smooth ongoing operations for a portfolio of SMB and Enterprise clients. You will serve as the primary point of coordination between clients and internal delivery teams.

This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple concurrent engagements, and a proactive communication style suited to SMB environments. You will ensure services are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to client expectations and service level agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead onboarding and transition of new clients into CIS Managed Services
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and resource coordination
  • Serve as primary client contact during onboarding and service stabilization
  • Coordinate with IAM engineers, infrastructure teams, and security operations
  • Monitor service delivery against SLAs and KPIs
  • Identify risks, manage issues, and drive timely resolution
  • Facilitate regular client status meetings and reporting
  • Support contract renewals and identify opportunities for service expansion
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting
  • Ensure a smooth handoff from implementation to steady-state managed operations

Required Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years of project management experience in technology or managed services environments
  • Experience working with SMB clients preferred
  • Strong understanding of managed services delivery models
  • Familiarity with IAM, cloud services, or enterprise IT operations
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Excellent client communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organizational and risk management capabilities
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project, or similar)
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification preferred

Education & Legal Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Willingness to undergo a background check
